Tallow is naturally close to the oils in our own skin so tallow soap cleans, it lifts dirt and grime, then rinses away without tearing into your barrier. Your skin gets clean and stays whole.
Tallow makes the hardest, densest bars in all of soap making. Hardness is why a bar holds its shape, wears down slowly and evenly, and lasts week after week. If you want the finest bar, you start with beef fat. There is no substitute.
